NCC UNIT of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University Jalandhar organized an Extension Activity in Khanaura village. The extension activity in the form of Tree Plantation and Cleanliness Drive is based on the theme ‘Replenishment of Ecosystem’in collaboration with Gram Panchayat of Village Khanaura, District Jalandhar on May 17, 2024. 30 Cadets of NCC Unit participated in this activity and visited the Gurudwara campus and Govt. School of village. The cadets showed great enthusiasm in interacting with the residents and students about importance of nature, trees and environment in human life.This activity aimed at the sensitisation of young minds to understand the significance of healthy eco-systemfor long life of earth and also give opportunity tocadets toreach out into the local community. Cadets displayed great zeal and enthusiasm throughout the planning and execution of the activity.Eatables items were distributed to students. Dr. Harpreet Singh CTO, NCC and Mr. Abhinav Sharma Faculty of University Institute of Humanities, Sant Baba Bhag Singh Universityaccompanied the students during the visit.
